Course Central is a set of new features in Insights where faculty and course coordinators, or captains, work together to streamline assessment and close the loop on course improvement.

Guided workflows make it easier for faculty to complete their reviews and for coordinators to manage cycles and templates. Course review just got smarter, smoother, and far less manual.

New features include:

Streamlining Course Review

With the new Course Coordinator role, admins can assign course captains or senior faculty to oversee assessment and course review across multiple courses—better engaging key stakeholders and distributing the workload more effectively.

Coordinators can create standardized reflection templates to help guide faculty through the last steps of the assessment process and make it easier for them to capture their thoughts. Reflections and action items can then be shared with the Course Coordinator to support course review and continuous improvement.

Your Data, Your Choice

With Course Central, you control where to pull results data from — either results from a signature assignment in Canvas, scores from Learning Mastery Gradebook, or upload results from a third party system. A new finalization workflow guides faculty through their part of the process and allows them to see at a glance where they still have tasks to complete. And Course Coordinators have a new course review workflow that allows them to easily see upcoming, pending, and published reviews.
